Do I need to know any coding to learn WordPress?
To learn how to build a website or blog with WordPress, you don’t need any experience with coding, setting up a website, domain, etc. A basic knowledge of HTML/CSS will give you more flexibility later down the road, but it’s not a requirement.
Is it free to build a site with WordPress?
Yes and no. To build a simple WordPress blog, you only need to pay for hosting (around $100/year) and domain name registration (around $15/year). If you want to add certain e-commerce/business functionality to your site, e.g. an appointment booking service, paid e-learning courses, etc., then there will be some extra costs incurred. On each course page, I break down the investment needed to set up a website by following my tutorials.

Yes, this is a WordPress site.
Can I learn how to build a site like this?
Sure you can.
Who are you?
I’m the co-founder of a popular website for language learners and teachers where I’m responsible for creating content and strategy. I’ve been collaborating with professional developers for around 10 years. But I’d always wanted to create my own websites. I just didn’t have the coding chops. Then about 5 years ago, I discovered WordPress and build my own online learning and teaching blogs. I experimented with lots of WordPress features and plugins for selling downloadable products, taking appointment bookings for Skype-based courses, and selling online courses. I’ve condensed 5 years of discovery into these courses.
